Best aspects of this hotel were the cleanliness of the rooms, the helpfulness of the staff, and its convenient location close to all the tourist sites. The room was lovely and clean, and it was cleaned once a day while I was out. The staff was friendly and used WhatsApp to communicate, very convenient. The hotel is also within walking distance of the major attractions, such as the acropolis, and close to public transportation.

The rooftop with amazing views of Athens and the Acropolis, open-air movies, and a jacuzzi. Friendly hosts. Cool and arty neighborhood with local markets and restaurants. Close to the tube for easy access to the airport and port. Perfect for friends going out at nights.
Felt right at home here, couldn't find anything to complain about.

We stumbled upon this gem of a hotel in the heart of the city and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! the price was incredibly reasonable for what we got. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive - from the modern decor to the clean and comfortable beds. We even had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis. The location couldn't have been better, right in the center of all the action. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast on the rooftop, included in the price! It was the perfect way to start our days of exploring the city.
Honestly, we couldn't find a single thing to fault at this hotel. Everything was just perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was great, as it was close to everything but also had an authentic feel. It was next to a huge market, where we could find fresh produce and local goodies. The room was clean and modern, with a smart TV for entertainment. The bathroom was a decent size, and the staff was welcoming and provided all the necessary information. The rooftop terrace was a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view of the city.
The neighborhood had a bit of a sketchy feel, with deserted buildings and graffiti around.

The staff were really good too make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with complimentary coffee and water. The rooftop bar offered amazing views of the Acropolis, perfect for relaxing with a drink. Despite being in a grungy neighborhood, we felt safe and were able to walk to all the major attractions in just a few minutes. The location was also surrounded by hip neighborhoods with great eateries. we highly recommend Play Theatrou for a wonderful stay in Athens.
